At Leadbird, we recommend that you take an assertive approach with your responses. The goal is to schedule a meeting and we've seen a much higher success rate when you invite them to a call as opposed to making the lead book a time in your calendar.
Here's a quick breakdown:
Proper Response: “Hey [first-name], sounds great - I’ve sent over an invite for 3 pm on 10/18. Let me know if we need to adjust it”
Improper Response: “Hey [first-name], here’s my calendar for you to use: calendly.com/lost-this-lead
IMPORTANT: Please keep our emails BCC’d when responding to the lead. If you remove the BCC, we'll automatically send you a notification to respond. This avoids any confusion around which leads have been responded to.
